I almost uploaded page 12 by mistake :p
Anyway
I never meant it to seem like Jerry really was responsible for Malachy's death, hence a rather blunt reveal juuust to make sure you know it was the infection that did it!
Also, for a hot second I thought Jerry had repeated himself in asking where Corey was and Chris had somehow heard him. That was an extremely wild pseudo-reveal for the brief time it took me to figure out Dylan said it
Maybe this logic can also be applied to the other death in this story:
Jerry only died because that brick was way harder than required by OSHA standards!
Suddenly commentary on healthcare :^)
You hear this sort of stuff everywhere quite often although hospitals are not shut down because of it. There actually is not enough of them, sigh.
I still do not think it excuses much even if he was going to die no matter what. Although it is quite crappy to think the personnel probably figured the job just got easier that way...
I'm pretty sure the whole hospital thing was inspired by a story a few years ago about a hospital that was investigated and either closed or had a bunch of people fired for this reason!
It's possible that jerry knocking Malachy out of bed was the only reason anyone noticed the rash as 'soon' as they did! not that it helped hehe

I ~finally~ found your Twitter. You know you can add that to Webtoon as well, right? (RN I had to Google the comic, find it on Tapastic, find this one through that, then find your Twitter here. Like a fun scavenger hunt for diehard fans :) )
Huh really? I can't find anywhere to do that. I thought only featured people got any kind of a profile there.
Also, about printing, I'd like to but it's also really difficult logistics-wise, pricing, choosing the number of copies, storing them and sending them out, it is all a bit of a nightmare
I mean, you could just add your Twitter handle at the bottom right? But yeah, good point. How is it that you have over 55 thousand (!!) readers but aren't featured? Is that by choice?
Maybe a PDF download that people can print themselves then? :D
I have some eps where I did that but I keep forgetting!
I was a semifinalist in the competition last year so I got a feature offer but I turned it down. I'm still a student focusing on my degree so I don't want a strict schedule/contract, don't want to have the only version online be the hastily cobbled together vertical scroll version, didn't want to be set back in finishing by months, and I don't want to have to do what an editor tells me.
I think about actually pitching future stories to them when I'm ready but there's still a lot about webtoon format I'm not a huge fan of.
That seems like a solid decision. Getting your degree should definitely come first, and I am hella impressed that you can deliver this kind of quality while also studying.

Still waiting on that bagel throw

Yeah, it's dodgy speech bubble placement. Could've done with being 2 panels really, oh well!
Bagel throw is imminent. The most important plot point.

Jerry's innocent happy face is just what I needed today, surely nothing's gonna happen to this smile at the end of the story, right, moth
Moth
Love to draw that boy smiling :)
Mel Cormac
He is #1 Dad
Moth
Question is did he buy that mug for his dad or did someone else buy it for him?
khkddn
Ah, ok, they didn't kill him. They just made him die on the floor. That's perfectly acceptable.
Moth
If you want to nit pick, he died in an ICU bed after someone found him dying on the floor ;D

Mel Cormac
It's the system that killed Jerry.
Moth
Honesty there was once a time long ago where he blamed the city council for never fixing that wall
That was an ancient version

Chris, you're eyes are the widest I've ever seen them in the comic. Just how much caffeine do you need to get to that level?
Moth
he's on his second cafetiere
And a good catch :)

Oh my god, I came over from Webtoon and there are so many more pages here. Yay! Although...now I'm all caught up.
So anyway, when is this going to come out in print?
