There were cases when somebody could relatively quickly forgive a killer of a person they knew. Plus they are brothers and Jerry's situation is as ridiculous as it is. Maybe it is the sort of "ah to hell with it" kind of attitude... Not right away before but probably now is. What do you do now?
Stockholm syndrome? Spectral Stockholm syndrome? Specholm syndrome??
Part of it has to be pragmatism, Dylan is the only person he can talk to so he's gotta try and get on with him or end up like malachy. And to that end, if he can convince himself it wasn't really Dylan's fault then he can try and get on as best as he can...
He also copes with sadness by just pretending he's not sad, so
Aww c: I deeply believe people always deserve a chance to change and it warms my heart seeing Dylan trying to be a better person - he has made many mistakes in the past and made people suffer, but he's trying to make up for it and that itself is a good start <3
Moth, I have never hoped for a happy ending so much in my entire life, what have you done to me?
Hmm, not sure how effective therapy would be for Dylan seeing as he’d have to be desperately self-analytical and on his toes the entire time. Wouldn’t want to slip up and blatantly implicate himself in the murder of his brother. Oof, maybe he should just take up journaling.
But YEE, finally getting to see this conversation play out is so wonderfully satisfying. It’s been a long time coming and seeing these boys finally clear the air between them might be the most pleasant part of this story yet. I say yet because I’m tryna convince myself this is all gonna end with them backpacking in the alps or something and everything is gonna be fine
In a perfect world, that would be wonderful. Jerry has another person to hang out with in addition to his (sliiightly dicey) brother, Dylan gets to hang out with someone who isn’t dead (and is now far less likely to get jumped). Corey gets to spend time with the best friend he thought he lost and honestly if anyone deserves a nice break it’s him. Good stuff. A good trio!!

Hello friends, I forgot to upload because I am neck deep in a big list of proteins having a ''''great'''' time
Jerry doesn't like being sad, it's not his style

It's real interesting to see a ghost wanting their killer to get away with their murder. Usualy it'd be the opposite.
Maybe one day they can make peace with Malachy...

Yeah it's kinda weird for him to try so hard. I don't really know how much empathy he's got but it ain't much, he's using it all right now.
a happy ending huh : )

Also there's a good chance he'd end up on medication to try and make jerry go away if he was at all honest
I'm glad the scene feels deserved (?) Important (?) I always feel like this kind of scene can drag on.
In this happy ending, is Corey also there? :-)

But ohh, I don’t like the looks of that :-)
MANY ominous vibes contained within that :-)
