To be honest, this exchange make me a little more suspicious of Chris. Both he and Mal were physically harmed by Jerry, and both Mal and he have some connection with the Sun mosaic.
Feels like I'm reading too much into this scene though. I mean, both would have motivation to harm Jerry, but actual murder? Couple it with both incidents being years displaced from current events and it feels like something big is missing.

For me, it's a conservation of detail issue. He's a major minor character, yet has no meaningful ties to any current events. (Wasn't involved in any recent fights, not tied to Rob/Mal, etc) It's clear that you have plans for him—his friendship with Corey, and subsequently Dylan, is suspect—but it's difficult to deduce what his role, past or future, is.

I will only add that even Mal was not exactly thrilled by Chris and his Sun mosaic. I am simply not totally buying that school project suggestion. Too suspicious if you ask me but I also do not have anything further than that.
Also, it is quite hard for me to go back and start suspecting Chris again but chances are we still do not know the full story. If this here was the initial event that pushed everything until current time then that is just too easy?
Well, I'm wondering if he made sure Jeremy died for this (and Dylan suffered and maybe died), and Robin and his Mom die for not being there. Nurse on staff might want to watch their back too.
Okay, Jerry was definitely a nasty little brat, even if that guy slapped him. Yanking an IV away could be fatal in some circumstances. Suddenly I don't feel that much sympathy for Jerry.

I love the progress of the story and everything, at some point I really thought it was Dylan going crazy but now he's some sort of medium and it was Jerry's fault all along if he was haunted haha. The-- circle is complete? In French we have this saying for that, saying that the loop has been completed. But blah, I'm being talkative. ;))
It is quite near the end, two chapters left! I'm pretty excited for it, and I'm glad you're still enjoying it too :'D the twins have indeed been through a lot these last chapters haha
