Similar energy in that laugh.
Malachy may have just pimp slapped a child but he really doesn’t seem to have much genuine ill will toward the boys yet. God, tf is little Jerry going to do?
AHAHHA
well he has just had an operation, he might be a bit weird from the painkillers?
the anaesthesia has definitely worn off by now though so he doesn't have that excuse.
I would show him the hospital bill and what is not covered by his insurance. Not sure if he would muster that sort of laugh then.
LMAO
For real though: That is the kind of murderous stare that never forgets such incidents. All the bros here are similar, haha.
Mal died so I suspect he was already dying here. Not sure. Maybe he does not give an eff anymore. Although I suspect his death was not completely natural... (forgot if something of this sort was mentioned though)
Yeah he's not well, I've done a poor job of making his face a bit red cuz he's got a f e v e r
AH MALARIA, HIS FAVOURITE DISEASE
what other malady could it be?
Aw man, I honestly feel skeeved-out every time I realise you guys get charged for healthcare. My American husband was shocked when he realised the NHS (who are treating Mal) doesn't charge for treatment beyond a few quid for prescriptions—also waived for many people.
But yeah—I don't think Jerry is the "forgive and forget" type. :-/
"But yeah—I don't think Jerry is the "forgive and forget" type. :-/"
Dylan seems or seemed the same tbh because how much he was controlled is still questionable. What a happy family, right!?
But hey. At least Ghost Jerry is trying to forgive a part of it. The rest depends on how much a ghost's word means now that he is not going back anyway but Dylan probably takes what he can get...
Oh, good points: Jerry does have some capacity to forgive—and I'm still very unsure how to what extent Dylan's actions were coerced. On the one hand, Mal is obviously very capable of manipulating his mood, and it only takes a moment of viciousness to do something regrettable… But I also doubt Mal could have pushed him to murder Jerry if there wasn't already some strong animus and potential for violence to build on. (Not that hating his brother is a crime or he can be considered fully responsible for acts committed under supernatural influences.)
"considered fully responsible for acts committed under supernatural influences"
Exactly. This is where things usually get interesting if you want to talk blame and causes. I am on the side with the sign saying "Higher powers suck" because what do you do? Really. Such powers do not exist in the real world in any form and therefore when they actually cause something in fiction that is mostly based on reality, it is very hard to blame that person. At the same time however, the opposite also tends to be automatically true and means to resist those powers exist as well. Let's be frank: Dylan is or was an a-hole and he fully knew he hated Jerry. It is not like every action in his body had to be controlled by the ghost. The ghost probably did what ruinous powers like to do: Suggested this or that and slightly twisted certain facts to exploit weaknesses.

Agreed. I suspect that his particular brand of psychic invasion is based on finding weak points and applying pressure. I also suspect that he would not have succeeded at pulling this crap with, say, Our Lady of the Undertaker.
Oh, come on now. There’s no MALevolence meant. Hopefully you are MALleable in terms of your views on wordplay because MALtreatment of puns is all too common these days

This seems like the perfect time to yank out that IV cord and run away, as children do
Moth
what child HASN'T done this
MadJak91
Too direct in my opinion. And impersonal.
Pump some strong clear liquor in that IV. That should get him on his legs again. Problem solved. Right?
The Doodler
Well, that was MALignant.
joeyballast
Or perhaps MALicious?
Moth
very maleficent
the list goes on
joeyballast

Moth

junoro
I can't wait for Jerry to play a fun prank on Mal, like put purple food colouring in his IV or something
Moth
pranking before youtube pranks were a thing

Moth
they do indeed share a tendency to laugh inappropriately
I imagine them having the same kind of laugh
Yah he finds them annoying, but annoying is better than bored, right? :D
Microraptor
They should transfer Mal to the neurology department. There is clearly something wrong with his brain.

Shame I cannot like comments as in "Yep! Total agreement and I have nothing else to add." haha.
Yup yup! The ghost needs to posses the RIGHT person.
