I never knew enough about police procedures to be happy writing the detectives' side of the story... hence why I largely avoid bringing them into it (but thank you ;u;)
By my count, he slipped up twice. I mean, there's the obvious external monologue, but also Dylan's yawn. It was believable when he first met Vic, now it feels forced.
That said, it's funny to me that Vic just utterly ignores that Dylan basically asked her to slow down.
But hey, it's nice that we have Shandy's name… now we just need the first name of the Undertaker's daughter.
It is a slip up, but the constable will probably not note it, as it somewhat fits into the conversation.
"He was planning on joining his brother in London [but that's cannot be true.]"
"Why would he lie about that?"
My take on the situation is that Vic is suspicious about something, and she is trying to press Dylan, that's why she won't let him take a breath.
She might be either biased against Dylan because I think she disliked him since day one OR has legitimate suspicions.
Now, I doubt a skilled detective like her would try to press a person because of possible personal dislike and that is not how you proceed (let's assume she actually does her job the way she is supposed to) but at the same time I cannot shake off the feeling she KIND OF just wants him guilty and to close the case.
But yes, Dylan slipped up AND his responses are somewhat forced so he is not helping his case in the first place.
I wonder how common is it to suspect a family member so much, more so a teenager who could kill his brother, but it is a story so hey :D

Looks like Dylan just slipped up!
Also it feels sad that Robin would lie about that...unless he meant someone else he thinks of as a brother.

Gotta be tricky for Dylan to keep track of what he is and is not supposed to know!
Robin's my favourite because he's got a sad story ;)

Poor guy just can't hide his nervous habits! He touches his face a lot too. Meanwhile Vic ploughs on at high speed to bamboozle her foes.
