hey jerry you didn't like me sticking my hand through you how about I chuck my ENTIRE BODY at ya huh
let's get to the root of this argument :}
Edit: just realised I didn't fix a bubble on the last panel , it's not currently clear that Jerry's calling Corey a git, not the other way round. will fix when free.
Hmm. Unlike round one, Dylan seems to have inserted himself in the memory, not unlike reliving Rob’s autumn memory.
I see Waldo in the third to last panel.
Looks like today’s update didn’t occur on the same day as the last memory, judging by the wardrobe change.
God, I love Corey’s sweater. I want one for myself. And I love how you’re portraying Corey’s difficulties in school. Reminds me a lot of my experiences in high school and balancing work and play.
I figured it was sometime before the previous memory, but Corey’s hair was harder to gleam off of in terms of state of growth. Could’ve been as early as the previous day, as best as I could discern.
That’s actually inspiring, that Corey was a major slacker and then cleaned up his act as best he could. I hoping he gets at least a B- before the comic is over.
Do you think "Waldo" was eavesdropping on the conversation and noted the discord between them? My only guess is that Cail might then think Corey did something but other than that... eh.
At least I think he looks like Cail.

Tutor voice: Aw.. :(
What says he was a major slacker? Ds? I guess that is what it usually is, sure. However, he actually seems like the kind of student who is smart in his own way that just is not compatible with academics but more so with actual work. Like a mechanic who... I think he is? He does not come across as lazy to me based on similar students. Just someone not fully compatible with the system or he has problems with teachers. I tutored students who easily had the knowledge and skill for As but simply could not work with artificially constructed problems the school and teachers gave them.
LMAO
I just felt like doing an assessment of a student BUT it is fictional and whatever Moth says is true :D
I am actually surprised Jerry was that good. I believe it though because despite being Jerry, I doubt he was pulling the strings for better grades, lmao :D
Anyway! It was about grades and school. Heh. I am with Corey here. Gotta revise and finish school properly because for that you do not have as many chances as for having general fun. You can catch up with that no problem.
I would say Corey wasn't a big slacker, he just didn't do any more work than anyone else (which is basically none at that point) and it didn't turn out good for him!
Neither of them are really stupid, Jerry's just ignorant and Corey's just not very academic. he certainly is a good mechanic though. He works hard.
I think Jerry's gotta have some amount of smart, since Dylan's pretty smart. He just does not do the work.
Awesome! Thanks! I am happy I was pretty close then about a fictional student based on my own RL sample. Shows that you are really doing your job with this. I love it :D
I'm really unsurprised that Jerry is "naturally smart". His identical twin is heading for Oxbridge, and IQ has fairly high heritability.
I'm also not super surprised that Corey isn't doing well on his exams; I know plenty of friends and family whom I know are plenty smart, but just don't take well to academics. They have to work for their passes when some people can just coast.

Yah this is a while before the first memory. things have been tense for them for a while, huh?
I imagine Corey bunked off a lot in first year and got a real shock when he actually failed!

In my mind Dylan won't get into Cambridge because he interviewed badly :} Jerry could be real smart if he bothered learning anything
