So he has a heart after all! Somewhere buried underneath all the... rest of him.

Man, I drew this page so many times and it still didn't come out the way I expected! To be honest, I'm not sure what I expected. I'm pretty happy with it tho.

Gosh, thank you! I was redrawing it so many times trying to find the right composition so I'm glad it paid off :D
That's the secret - redraw until frustrated, then decide it's good enough and leave it at that xD

I don't think he'll be able to rearrange that formula, blurry text, sorry. :p

I can't stop looking at this page, everything just flows so well, yet it still looks distorted and unnatural, and I keep spotting new things, like the panel gutter transitioning into Dylan's leg. I think all those redraws paid off, because this looks amazing.

Aa thank you :D
When I look at it I keep noticing that I forgot to draw things like Dylan's shoe laces :{

Heart? I would say if he had one, he would not kill his own brother.
More like the cooldown phase ended and now the regret phase comes in.
My opinion anyway :)

Meaning he CAN feel responsible for his actions and DOES feel their weight but he still killed his brother for petty reasons.
Excellent effects!

Hey, he's got a heart! It's just cold and black!

For sure he's in regret phase but maybe just because he's losing his ability to repress all that lovely guilt. But yeah he's still a mega bastard.

Thanks :D

Y'know when something is so beautifully illustrated that you can hear it, see it move, and give you chills? This is it, right here. Awesome page.

Holy shit this page is beautiful, the design of this is just really well crafted! This is my new favorite comic!

This page was so excellent I kept the tab open overnight so I could come back and gush about it!

I love how you use colour, position and formatting to communicate multiple layers of simultaneous experience: Dylan disconnecting from reality, his attempt to recentre himself even as he gets drawn into a flashback—and, all the while, his mundane A-Level physics class continues in the periphery of his awareness.

The way you cleverly chose a few key images as fixed points—the classroom, an ominous sketch, Dylan kneeling over his brother's body—really underscores the fragmented dynamism of his memories. The skull's eerie stillness in the centre is particularly striking. Serving as the eye of a storm and a metaphor for Dylan's tunnelling vision, it emphasises the brutal relentlessness of the maelstrom around it.

Now I've caught up, I'm aware that you're currently feeling a bit burned-out by this comic. I hope you find the energy and enthusiasm to continue, but I also understand that producing a web comic is a HUGE undertaking and not well-compensated. It's entirely down to your discretion and best judgement if you want to continue. Whether you stop or continue, please, please take pride in the phenomenal work you've done so far! :)

Thank you so much for this comment! Honestly, it's so thoughtful and now that I'm back at working on the comic again it's just really nice to read :D
I'm feeling a little less burned out now and ready to try using more interesting layouts like this page in the current chapter!
Thank you again!
