I feel that this is one of those sort of bridging pages, not much to it
But at least someone is thinking of Robin

I got nothing to say other than that this scene these past few pages was incredibly sweet and I love how you're giving them all a break from all the drama and tension.

That said, I think we're due for some extreme drama and tension. 😈

Haha yeah this is the surprise nice, friendly chapter between a couple of hectic ones :¬) Glad you've enjoyed the calm!

Dylan and Jerry's interplay is so cute and brotherly, despite the whole "I totally murdered you bro" thing going on, and I love it.

…I have been wondering about Robin. If ghosts are real, has Robin found someone else to, um. Haunt? Talk to? Serve as a medium? Or is that an unusual phenomenon?

It seems like Dylan is unique in his ability to see ghosts. Whether that's because he was influenced/possessed by Mal—who may be more powerful, or at least more practised, than most ghosts—or innate is still in question.

If it's innate, that rather limits the pool of potential candidates. Also, he's likely to at least go for someone whom he knows. His girlfriend perhaps? Or maybe another of Jerry's acquaintances that we've already met?

(Cue an archive search for people giving Corey weird intense looks…)

I'm pretty sure that Robin is haunting Corey… though whether or not Corey is aware of it is another question. Considering that Dylan seems to need physical-ish contact to engage in a flashback, it likely means that Robin's ghost was there at the time that Dylan visited.

Though whether or not Robin is haunting Corey or the box cutter is another question. Mal seemed tied to the hospital, so it stands to reason that Robin could be tied as well. Though if that's how ghosts work in this world, one can only wonder what Dylan is tied to.

Oh crumbs, you're right—I thought this little Robin-shaped coda to the vision was just business-as-usual for Freaky Medium Powers Unlocked Dylan, I didn't make the connection that maybe… Robin is here?

Mal was able to influence Dylan beyond the hospital, thus the evil twin… twin brother? (Twinception, yikes.) And Jerry seems able to follow Dylan without any trouble, even to quite some distance. Based on Mal's increased power and control in the hospital, I suspect that ghosts have a connection to their place of death—in which case Mal has a connection to the hospital, Robin to the drain and Jerry to the woods—but can manifest at least some distance from there.

Hehe getting the Robin vision in Corey's room was indeed a sort of hint that Corey killed him!

You haunt what killed you, some people are better at seeing ghosts than others and exposure makes it easier to see them, those are my mostly unwritten rules. Dylan ticks all three boxes but he still doesn't see Robin...

Malachy leaves the hospital from time to time but he can't get far for long - it takes concentrated effort.

Does that confirm Corey can see Robin? I guess that is a spoiler regardless.
If he can then and Robin is actually there telling stuff to Corey AND Corey totally gets what Dylan is saying then I want to see the awkward scene when they admit it to each other, LMAO :D

I was under the impression that the Funeral Girl said a lot of it is up to you and if you have strong feelings like Dylan then the ghost might actually show up.
Good to know now!

My heaaart, I love the weird unlikely beyond the grave bros dynamic Corey and Jer still have. Also 100% here for Dylan being That kind of sibling because oh man, that really is just how siblings are. This whole scene has been so good :)

Hmm, the way Jerry stopped and turned around makes me feel like he saw something, if so I wonder what it could’ve been.

(Also small PSA, ya forgot the B in bit)

Jerry's immediately back to acting like he's alive and Corey can hear him.

Ah, Jerry didn't turn around, Dylan and Corey did, it's just weirdly drawn. I DID forget he B, I also forgot Corey's beard on one panel, all it repaired now

Good job, boys! Two suspects together outside at night during rain walking around suspicious places. Having fun talking about murders. If this was not a serious toned work I would say it is a local hobby ;)
I just think they feel too safe?

inb4 Vic waiting there upstairs with handcuffs.

HAHAHA well, she could only arrest Corey if she was! Dylan hasn't said anything to suspicious, he just might seem a bit loopy.

Good point, haha. She seemed to have some bias against Dylan and now it is both of them hanging out in the middle of the night. While that is no proof, it is also not being careful, haha.
But ya.
