Welp... Jerry really pushed it there. I can understand they had a big fight over this. More so when they seemingly knew each other's family faults and now started using that knowledge.
Tbh, not sure how it is over there but I guess this happens often in high schools? "My dad has a better job than yours!" kind of thing but sure, here it is much more severe.
Corey should have ignored that but ya, it is him. I always did and it helped since I was in a class with 90% rich kids and they did this often to the rest of us, haha.
In this situation Jerry's just annoyed that Corey's ignoring him and says it's because doesn't want to disappoint his parents. Corey's super devoted to his family, Jerry isn't and it annoys him. So I guess it's both of their weak spots.
Probably not going to get a reply but...
1) It is implied Eric is their biological Dad, right?
2) Any chance Robin is somehow related to them? If it is true their Dad is not their biological Dad and the fact the mystery is really interconnected, I find it possible but I do not feel strongly about it. Something like a lost or hidden family?
Lastly, it just might be your style making Robin somewhat similar looking, haha.
It is implied that Eric is their dad, but it's more of a suspicion that Jerry has more than something he knows for sure. It's also why Dylan refers to his dad as James a lot :}
Ya my faces aren't... hugely differentiated and I guess Eric and Rob both have cleft chins goin on... hmmm
