Is it bad that my favourite character is a dead jerk who took way too long to know he was dead? I just... love Jerry's dialogue, it's so naturally funny, without detracting from the tone.

About a billion pages ago the police mentioned nobody even bothered reporting Rob missing :'(

Heh. Remember when Suit Jerry taunted Dylan how nobody likes him because he is not nice and has nobody around him? I see why Dylan reacted here the way he did. Maybe.

Hm. Jerry does not remember then but something is fishy. He still found Rob (if he really is down there) without too much trouble but sure, he had plenty of time to walk around the town?
Especially when Suit Jerry is perhaps his other side and the one who knows what is up.

But yeah, it is harder with Rob. Maybe he had no connections with I guess he still could have plenty of enemies (Jerry for one) anyone could find his death/disappearance to be convenient for them.

Dylan seeing himself in poor drowned Rob and wondering if anyone would care if he fell down a storm drain. there's a few parallels between them :p

Random thought: twins are often reported to have very intense psychic connections, even across vast geographical distances. What if Dylan wasn't actually the one to kill Jerry, but somehow that impression seeped into his mind from Jerry? If Ghost Jerry is trying to haunt his brother, what could be worse than a 'killing joke'?

I doubt it's worth exploring, but this story leaves a lot of room to play with random ideas, which is incredibly fun. :)

Have you played the Zero Escape games? They focus a TON on that concept.

Hm. It could have been someone else who killed Jerry and Dylan who hated him a lot somehow got the memory and convinced himself he killed Jerry. Is that what you are proposing?

I think Suit Jerry previously taunted Dylan that Jerry is dead because "you killed him". IF I recall that right. And if Suit Jerry is one of Jerry's side then he would be either sure of it OR just that. A complete a-hole making stuff up.

Granted, there are people who could have killed Jerry instead of Dylan and Dylan proved to be useful.
